On the afternoon of April 10, 2025, in Hai Phong City, Schneider Electric officially launched its annual Innovation Day 2025 series under the theme “Scaling Sustainable Manufacturing through Digitization and AI.” The event brought together hundreds of experts, businesses, and investors in the industrial and energy sectors to share cutting-edge technological solutions and promote digital transformation and sustainable development in manufacturing.
Innovation for Sustainable Manufacturing
At the conference, Schneider Electric introduced integrated solutions combining digitization and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance business competitiveness.
Mr. Dong Mai Lam, Country President of Schneider Electric Vietnam and Cambodia, emphasized that digitization and AI will be the key drivers of the energy transition in the manufacturing industry, enabling reduced energy consumption and optimized energy structures, thereby accelerating sustainable growth.
The event also featured various activities, including an exhibition area for smart industrial solutions, specialized discussion sessions on energy optimization, smart industrial parks, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, and macrogrid solutions.
ESEC – Authorized Representative of ETAP in Vietnam Participates in the Smart Industrial Solution Showcase
East Sea Energy Environment (ESEC) was honored to join the event as the Authorized Representative of ETAP in Vietnam.
ETAP is a comprehensive software platform for electrical system design, simulation, analysis, monitoring, and operation. It is widely used across key industrial sectors such as energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, and especially smart industrial parks.
ESEC’s ETAP solution booth attracted significant interest from attendees, particularly representatives from industrial parks, port operators, and design consultancy firms – all of which are key industries rapidly growing in Hai Phong.
Insights from ESEC CEO on Applying ETAP in Smart Industrial Parks
As part of the event’s specialized discussion sessions, Mr. Tran Thanh Khang – CEO of ESEC delivered a presentation titled: “ETAP – Power System Design, Operation, and Automation Software for Smart Industrial Zone.”
His presentation drew strong attention from attendees, especially in the context of Hai Phong’s rapid development of large-scale industrial parks with a clear digital transformation strategy.
Mr. Khang emphasized that ETAP enables the creation of intelligent, automated power systems capable of quickly detecting and isolating faults, thereby minimizing downtime. It also helps optimize energy performance, enhances system reliability and safety, and integrates seamlessly with smart management platforms to support real-time operation.
In his presentation, Mr. Khang also shared real-world implementations by ESEC at DEEP C and VSIP Industrial Zone, which have delivered stable, reliable electrical systems meeting high technical and operational standards for international investors.
Innovation Day 2025 was not only a showcase for breakthrough technologies but also a platform for pioneering companies like ESEC to share their experiences and practical solutions—contributing to the journey of building a smarter, greener, and more sustainable industrial future in Vietnam.
