With a team of experienced experts, ESEC is committed to delivering optimal solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure safety, optimize costs, and support customers in achieving sustainable development goals.
The RMS – Mong Duong 1 Plant – Phase 2 project was successfully implemented by ESEC for Power Generation Corporation 3 – Joint Stock Company (EVNGENCO3). The project’s objective was to develop a modern management and monitoring system to support operational activities and electricity market management, thereby improving business and production efficiency.

Before the project implementation, EVNGENCO3 encountered several major challenges in power system management and operations:
- Lack of remote monitoring tools, making it difficult to track and analyze operational data.
- Inefficient coal inventory management, affecting production efficiency.
- Absence of an early warning system to predict and promptly handle technical issues.
- Lack of a technology platform to support data analysis and decision-making in the electricity market.
To address these challenges, ESEC implemented the following advanced technology solutions:
- Development of an Early Warning System: This system enables the early detection and timely alert of technical issues, reducing failure risks and enhancing operational reliability.
- Implementation of a Coal Inventory Management Solution: The new system optimizes coal inventory management and utilization, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in coal blending and combustion.
- Electricity Market Support Solution: Providing data analysis tools to help businesses make timely and accurate decisions in electricity trading operations.
- Training and Technology Transfer: Ensuring that EVNGENCO3’s technical team can operate the system effectively and efficiently.
Following the implementation, the project delivered significant benefits for EVNGENCO3:
- Real-time Data Collection and Monitoring: The new system connects directly to the plant’s DCS, transmitting data to the central server, allowing users to monitor the entire system remotely.
- Automated Reporting: Operational, production, and technical-economic reports are automatically generated, saving time and improving accuracy.
- Optimization of Coal Blending and Combustion Techniques: The RMS system optimizes the coal blending process, ensuring optimal combustion efficiency and reducing fuel costs.
- Enhanced Data Analysis and Operational Management: Utilizing a centralized database, the system performs data analysis and generates early warnings, improving operational management and predictive maintenance (SCBD).
The successful completion of this project marks a significant step in the application of technology to power system operations management. With ESEC’s support, EVNGENCO3 has not only enhanced operational efficiency but also ensured long-term sustainability and economic effectiveness. This success further strengthens ESEC’s position as a leading provider of technology solutions for the energy sector.
